The 'Living with Nature' training is conducted at the farm in the batches of minimum of five persons. For further information, please email at grewals@indianorganic.com. The training schedule is as below.

Day-1   

Arrive – latest by 2pm.

Rest of the day spent in orientation trip of the farm and settling in.

Evening – Attend the Agnihotra.  

Day 2 

Morning Agnihotra

7.30 am to 8.30am – Talk on the relevance and importance of Agni hotra – handing out of Agnihotra mantra

0830 – 0900 – Tea

0900 – 1100 -   Talk -`The relevance of Organic Farming’ – this would include Natural Resource Optimization, Economics of Organic Agriculture, Relevance of Soil Health and the implications to Human Health.

1100-1200 – Lunch

1200 –1300 – Free to do personal chores

1300- 1500- Visit to various orchards and crops currently growing on the farm with a view to observe plant health, productivity etc. Introduction to the  economic benefits of growing fruit trees with ground crops as well as to the placement  of wind breaks and the selection of species that produce fuel and fodder.

1500 – 1700- Familiarization with Composting Techniques and surpluses used in composting. Introduction to Bio Dynamic preparations and  Farming.

1700- 1800 – Question answer session and tea
